During checkout, please choose your shipping option and the date you would like the dessert(s) to arrive. Please be aware that we do not ship on Saturdays or Sundays. We will ship your items on the day recommended by the carrier. 

For items that include free shipping, such as the Classic Cookie Tins, we ship via UPS Ground or USPS Parcel. If you need a guaranteed delivery date, consider choosing an expedited option at checkout. 

Your pies/desserts will be shipped fully baked and frozen but may thaw slightly in transit. When you receive them, either continue to thaw in the refrigerator or place them directly into the freezer. They will keep frozen for up to one month or refrigerated for up to one week.

Cookie Tins are ready to eat! We bake them the day they are shipped so that they arrive soft and chewy. 

Pies and crisps can be defrosted in the refrigerator, but I find defrosting uncovered at room temperature is best so that the crust doesn’t get soggy. They will take up to several hours, depending on their level of frozen. Once thawed, follow the next set of instructions for storage or reheating, if desired)

Pecan pies can be stored at room temperature for up to three days or wrapped in the refrigerator for up to one week.

All other pies, crisps, and lemon bars can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Pies, if never thawed, can be frozen for up to one month.

Cookies can be stored at room temperature for up to a week if they last that long. If you want to store them longer, I suggest wrapping the whole tin in plastic wrap and freezing it. You can also freeze individual cookies in zip-top freezer bags. 

Sadly, no, but I would be shocked if you had any! You can store leftovers in the refrigerator.

Typically a 9-inch pie will serve 6-8. 

No, they are not vegan.

Maybe. Reply to your confirmation email and change the subject to “Urgent Change Request.” We will do our best to accommodate any changes with appropriate notice.

Yes, we would be happy to discuss a discounted price for larger orders.

We have a selection of nut-free desserts, including the Classic Bar Tin, Lemon Bars, and the Apple Pie; however, all desserts and cookies are made in a kitchen that also produces desserts with nuts. 

We do our best to sanitize equipment, surfaces, and tools after contact with nut products, but we cannot guarantee that there will be no traces of nuts in “nut-free” desserts.

Allergies for each dessert are included in a special tab in the description for your convenience and reassurance. 

We use vodka in our all-butter pie crusts to make them extra-flakey! Most of the alcohol evaporates during baking, but some alcohol binds to the water in the crust and does not cookout. There is no discernable taste, but I feel it best to mention these details.
